In an effort to make Pickleball more than just a social hit, and to encourage many of us to step up, we are planning to have a short competition held over several weeks with a winner, trophy and a prize up for grabs.

The idea (still being hashed out) will be two groups. Mixed genders. 12 Players per group.

Each week the groups will be paired up by using the Round Robin App, and you will play each of the random pairs, scores will be noted and points awarded to each individual player.

You don't have to play EVERY week, we know that work, holidays, children, life in general and also the weather can make it hard to alway attend. There will be a set minimum number of weeks for you to qualify for the playoffs, using your personally accumulated scores.

You may have good rounds or bad rounds, your partner will change each week, so the one you won with this week, may well be your opponent and the one to beat the next week. Attending and putting in the effort will see who can come out with the prize and of course, the trophy!
